Oprah's Book Club is Coming to Emanuel

Beginning the first quarter of 2009, you can begin sharing, learning and connecting with others through the joy of reading. Call or email Jenny by November 28th to express your interest. Everyone is welcome!

Emanuel Named Head Start Enhancement Site

Emanuel Community Center is a Head Start Enhancement site in collaboration with the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency. The program provides child and family development services to low-income families.

Head Start provides training classes for parents and Emanuel staff.

Emanuel Community Center has received its first star for the Step Up to Quality program that promotes programs to enhance the quality of child care and education in the state of Ohio.

Step Up to Quality is a voluntary three-star quality rating system of early child care programs licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. It recognizes and promotes early child care and education programs that meet quality benchmarks over and above minimum health and safety licensing standards.
